Critical Baltimore School Update
A holy greeting to an amazing Remnant...OUR MINISTRY PARTNERS! We have been in the midst of aggressive prayer, fasting and literally bombarding the gates of Heaven for our mission field of Sandtown-Winchester.
When we began our ministry in Baltimore, there were five schools available for the children in Sandtown-Winchester. At present, there are only two schools left in the community that serve more than 1,500 children. This year, one of the schools that we have adopted is closing. The reason that we were given was not consistent with reality.

New Song Academy has been in the community since 1994, created by community leader and philanthropists Allan and Susan Tibbels. They started the school with community involvement for educational betterment of our at-risk youth.
Over the years, New Song Academy has seen many of its graduates move on to live successful and productive lives. The theme of the school has been successful and we have been proud to support their efforts. Please keep us and the families affected in prayer as this will be a “bad blow” to the community and the many children and parents that have called New Song Academy “home“ and its staff “family.”

Looking at the history of how the other schools were discontinued in the same community, it is obvious that the youth in our community have little to no value in the eyes of the very leaders that have been entrusted to faithfully serve the community.
We have made efforts to reach out to our political leaders in attempts to bring this matter to community awareness. However due to lackluster response, we have been met with no assistance for relief.
This is a trend that is happening across our country - at-risk youth living in disenfranchised communities having educational systems denied them which then breeds hopelessness of any type of future and they end up turning to the only profitable form of employment that is offered to them: drug sales, participation in criminal events or engaging in other anti-social behavioral events.
As we continue to move through this season, we ask for your help in advancing our efforts to help keep this school open and keep these students advancing to bright and prosperous futures. We welcome ideas or wisdom to assist us in these efforts. Perhaps you may know someone that could help or join with us. As always we welcome your support and covet your earnest prayers.

Please continue to keep us in prayer; there is so much work to do and we can’t do it without you! You have been a great encouragement to what God is doing in Sandtown-Winchester and we are thankful that you have partnered with us.
Please prayerfully consider making a one-time or a recurring financial donation to partner in funding the work of the LORD in Baltimore, MD.
As always, we would love to hear from you personally. Please reach out. We would love to pray for you, get a bite to eat with you, or even share a phone call. May our GOD continue to bless and keep you as we labor together for His Kingdom.
