Giving "God Gifts" to God's Children in Baltimore

We greet you in the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus! The summer months are always exciting as we see God’s hand on the many lives that we serve. With all of the hardship that we continue to hear in the news and social media, we have a counter response: JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE!!! HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE!!!!

A great source of encouragement for me comes from Exodus 23:20-30, where God promises to send an angel to go before us who will carry God’s Name. If we remain obedient, He will drive out our enemies. But my most favorite part is in verse 30 where it says,

"Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land."

This is what God has done through your efforts in prayer, volunteering as you are able, supplying needed resources, and most of all, remaining consistent ministry partners and supporting Shari, myself and our staff! We are grateful, humbled and thankful.

We are now approaching our crown jewel event for the year... CHRISTMAS TOYMANIA!

This year, as in years past, we want to make a huge impact and bless our kids not just with toys, but with something spiritually tangible that will last long after the toy is no longer usable. Every year, our ToyMania team designs “God Gifts” for the kids to take home with their toy. Here is the blessing: Many receive the toy of their choosing but are more excited about the God Gift which leads them to ask about Jesus. This gives our Toy workshop helpers the opportunity to share about Jesus, whether it is a testimony or the Christmas story – and ultimately, we get to pray with the kids.

This is where we form relationships - we meet the parents and pinpoint the need to be addressed in their lives. First, we show the love of God, and then we present the Gospel. We have had the honor of helping single moms that may be faced with eviction or utilities preparing to be shut off through no fault of their own. They are working and trying to raise their kids while keeping them out of trouble. We have counseled with dads that are at the end of their rope and are ready to give up, and addicts that are screaming, “I want to be free! Help me!”

Through the power of Christ, many of are living in freedom today and are serving God.

All of this is made possible through the ministry of ToyMania. Together we have made a difference in the community of Sandtown Winchester.

We are now receiving donations for ToyMania. As always, we ask that you would donate two or three toys or as many as God leads you to bless our kids. We have the following options available.

• Give a monetary donation. We will purchase a gift on your behalf.

In closing, I know we will make TOYMANIA 2026 spectacular. God continues to increase and bless the event. I pray that, in addition to the money and toy donation, some of you will come to Baltimore and volunteer your time to the event. And we are confident that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion, until the day of Christ Jesus.
