Our family at “The Sound” has never been a vehicle for political promotion or advancement; however, we are committed to prayer for our political leaders, that they will follow in the path of Jesus in all of their decisions in policymaking. Saying that, we remain in prayer for Former President Donald Trump and pray for God’s protection and healing after the unfortunate incident that took place in Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 13, 2024. It is obvious that our country is in a total division in beliefs and faith; we recognize that passions are running high as we near the day of presidential decision.
It is sad to observe how a country and people that started on the principles of biblical foundations has fallen away from the true faith of Jesus. First Timothy reminds us that, in the end days, many will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits. We can only pray for the many that have embroiled their passions, faith and hope in a political race rather than in the power of Jesus. We would just like to remind the “many” that only Jesus can save your soul, heal your infirmities and transform your heart and mind.
Our only request is that all of us together would stay in the spirit of peace, not only during this heated political race, but that we would recognize Jesus and the power we can all embrace over evil behavior and lifestyles.
